...that my uncle feels the need to call me twice in one day just to tell me about the movie "Cat People." It's not like I was trying to go to the bathroom or like I haven't seen that movie a half-dozen times. I collect old movies, for Heaven's sakes! LOL
...that I backed up on a four-lane road almost three hundred feet this morning. A stupid semi was trying to turn onto a narrow, two-lane road and apparently needs to practice more. I had to get The Girl Child to her STUCO meeting on time and I gave him three tries to work it out. To the dude behind me who I backed around - maybe you have all day to sit there like a lump, but I don't. Honk your horn at someone who cares. I saw you. You just weren't stopping me.
...that I am thankful once again for colored duct tape that matches my leather chair. If you can't tell it's there, it's not redneck. Just saying. Besides, I have four dogs, so I get a pass on the occasional duct-tape repair.
...that I bummed a few dishwasher tablets from my mom-in-law instead of making a trip to the grocery store just for those. I hate the grocery store and my mum-in-law was under the impression that she had bought some that were too fat for her dishwasher, so she bought different ones anyway. The fact that I didn't explain to her that they compress is beside the point. (I really hate the grocery store, did I say that?)
...that I can't get my uncle to understand that there is not a bed sheet size between twin and full. I will just continue to be "magic" when I get the "too large" full-size sheets to "fit." I'm a wizard, I know...
...that I'm really missing my empty house mornings since the Little Brother decided to take a semester off school to save up some money. Mornings alone are sooooo nice... I adore my kids, but I'm sorry, it's true! (And they all live at home, so it's not like I don't see them.)
